TAG Boston Social
Educators, Activists and Community Members join TAG Boston for our February social/meeting this Friday, February 1st from 5-7pm at Savin Bar and Kitchen. In honor of our hard work as educators, Savin Bar and Grill is offering dollar oysters and ½ price appetizers with the purchase of a beer, wine or cocktail between 3pm and 6pm.  We are excited to share the great work that TAG has been and will be doing in the future. Film Screening of August to June
There’s a better way to educate children than constant testing, destructive “turnarounds,†and charter conversions.
Come to a screening of August to June, a film about a public school that manages to keep its focus on children
— not billionaires who are sure they know best,
— not bureaucrats who want to please the billionaires.
The star of the film, teacher Amy Valens, will be at the screening. She will offer a peek at a new film project she and her husband are producing about Boston’s Mission Hill School.
When: Nov. 27, 6 pm.
Where: Community Church of Boston, 565 Boylston Street (near the Copley T stop).
For more info about the film please go to augusttojune.com
